Full-service thermoplastics injection molder Venture Plastics Inc. recently increased its large-tonnage molding capacity by installing a 1,440-ton Nissei press and adding 17,000-square-feet to its Newton Falls, OH, plant to accommodate the equipment. Venture also has a molding facility in El Paso, TX.
“These are exciting times for Venture: Prior to this new 1,440-ton press, the largest had been a 960 ton [machine] in our El Paso facility and a 720 ton in our Newton Falls facility,” stated Al Schultice, Director of Sales. “We feel this large-tonnage investment complements our already diverse portfolio and will assist in adding continued growth to our organization.”
In 2017, Venture Plastics obtained the new ISO-IATF 16949 certification. The company believes that with this certification, more plant space and larger injection molding machine capacity, it can service additional automotive and other market segments that need high-quality large parts.
